We have been overwhelmed with support and messages of goodwill about the plight of Bangholm and the ‘Bangholm Taskforce’ has meet twice to lay out a plan of action.
The timescale is our first big challenge and we are focussing on trying to resolve that initially.
The ‘task force’ comprises of the committee plus five others who have areas of specialism that can feed back to various interested parties (Claire Stewart, Vic Laing, Tom Stewart, Steve Phair, Nicola Pickavance) and we are extremely grateful for their time and effort and also to everyone who has sent us ideas. We have a list of 15 or more contacts that could help and we are prioritising them for now.
The initial shock has worn off and I would describe the mood of the ‘force’ to be determinedly optimistic.
