IT’S TIME FOR FORTH CHILDREN’S THEATRE’S SHOW SELECTION WORKSHOP 2025!

After the success of our workshop last October at the Edinburgh Playhouse, we are thrilled to announce on Friday 11th July 2025 we will be venturing to the Festival Theatre and hosting an all-day workshop in the theatre’s Empire Rooms.  

This workshop will give young people the chance to vote for our programming right up until Easter 2028. Yes! 2028!  

The day will kick off at 10:15am as we showcase the available shows, before then exploring them through singing, dancing and acting excerpts, before then voting for future Forth Children’s Theatre productions. 

We are proud to allow our young people the chance to decide on the company’s future. Last year’s workshop programmed our upcoming Fringe production School of Rock and next year’s Easter production Sister Act, which has shown great engagement from existing and new cast members.  

We only have 40 spaces available; therefore, we ask parents to book asap to avoid disappointment, last year’s workshop sold out in under two hours. We are charging £5 per young person to attend this workshop, this is to cover the cost of space hire, we want this to be a special experience, and the Festival Theatre have kindly offered us a great space to facilitate this workshop.
